Reasons to Choose Spain for Education
Top Universities
Select your desired university and course, verifying the language of instruction (Spanish or English) and the corresponding proficiency requirements.
Apply to the Spanish Ministry of Education via a Spanish Embassy/Consulate to get your previous education officially recognized (Homologación).
For most undergraduate programs (Non-EU), register with UNED (or similar) to receive your accreditation and/or take the required entrance exams (PCE / Selectividad).
Gather your academic transcripts, language proficiency scores (DELE/IELTS/TOEFL), passport copy, motivation letter, and CV (especially for Master's/PhD).
Ensure all key academic documents are officially translated into Spanish by a Sworn Translator (required by most public universities).
Apply online directly through the university's portal or the designated regional admission system, uploading all accredited and translated documents.
Wait for the university to evaluate your application, entrance exam score, and accreditation to determine if you meet the cutoff grade.
If successful, receive the official Letter of Acceptance, pay the required tuition fees, and complete your final registration (Matrícula) with the university.
Use your final acceptance letter and proof of funds to apply for the long-term Student Visa at the Spanish Consulate in your home country.
